As you know, for the last two months or so, I have been unable to get Shayne by telephone. She has no Internet connection, where she lives, and she cannot use the modem in the house where she lives. It prompted me to search for other means to try to communicate with her but I discovered that most of the satellite telepone companies are now out of business and there is nothing similar to them available. Also satellite pagers are scarce. I believe the other types of mobile phones are relatively unreliable and can be hacked, like computers. At any rate, I haven't yet found any solution. It means leaving a lot of work, laptop and cosmetic bottles behind in the house.
